Waterbeach Barracks in Cambridgeshire is a regeneration development by Urban and Civic on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation. Civil work is underway to prepare the former 716 acre Ministry of Defence site to deliver 6,500 new homes, 3 new primary schools, 1 new secondary school, a health centre, new town and local centres, community facilities and 59 acres of formal open spaces and sports pitches.
A network of footpaths and cycleways will also serve over 290k sq.ft of employment floorspace.
SAY are supporting the developer by creating the estate service charge model, which includes a unique void model and cashflow forecaster, and will run the tender process for the estate managing agent.
SAY have also recently been instructed on their neighbouring 1,425 acre development, Alconbury Weald.
